The Caves of Lascaux in France

In the caves of Lascaux are the beautiful murals from the prehistory  most of them are animals like horses and bulls. The original cave has been closed for tourists  the paintings are threatened by bacteria. Therefore they  paintings are very  unique  It’s the most colourful mural on earth.
They have made an excact replica of the entire cave called Lascaux II

Carrières de Lumières (formerly Cathedrale des Images) – Baux de Provence (France): art of Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci & Raphaël!

In the caves of the Val d’Enfer you will find the Carrières de Lumières (formerly Cathedrale des Images). On high walls, the ceiling, floor and pillars,  paintings and films as well as photographs are projected, accompanied by music and other sounds. It’s a real show, you will actually find yourself in the picture! Every year a show is organized with a different theme.

In 2015 the show contains  projections of works by the great  Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci and Raphaël!

The caves are located in Baux de Provence, between Avignon (40 km) and Arles (20 km).

El Teide National Park, Tenerife, The Canary Islands. 

Mount Teide is the highest point in Spain and the largest volcano on Tenerife.  (The Canary Islands) The volcano can be reached by cable car Teleférico del Teide

The cable car takes you directly to the highest point. On top you have a magnificent view of the nature reserve. Otherwise, it is only accessible by request prior authorization from the office of the national park or to be accompanied by a guide; this can only be a pretty long climb!

Fingal’s Cave,  Staffa, Scotland

Fingal’s Cave is a lava cave in the sea on the Scottisch island of Staffa. The cave has a particular pattern: a kind of horizontal columns. This is the result of crystallization of lava by accelerated cooling (probably due to the sea water), about 62 to 65 million years ago. With a special  tourist boat you can enter these beautiful caves.

Friday March 20th world’s biggest flower garden Keukenhof  in Amsterdam opens their doors for spring season.

2015 is the van Gogh-year in Keukenhof. Van Gogh formed the inspiration for the brand new flower shows. The highlight of this year is the spectacular flower bulb mosaic of a ‘self-portrait’of Vincent van Gogh made up of thousands of tulips.

The best way to start spring is in between the beautiful nature.
Keukenhof gives you an unique and unforgettable experience, with more than 7 million bulbs in bloom and a total of 800 varieties of tulips.

Parc du Grand-Blottereau, France

Enjoy spring time at the  22 hectares of Parc du Grand-Blottereau in France.

Dedicated to exotic plants and flowers since it was left to the city by Thomas II Dobrée in 1905, the Grand Blottereau has been continuing and increasing an exotic aspect for 40 years. The park  offers you  a journey through the different natural landscapes and fields that are cultivated around the world: the Mediterranean, the bayous of America and the hills of South Korea.

There are  tropical greenhouses where they house exotic plants that are one hundred years old. There is an unique collection of utilitarian plants: food crops, aromatic plants, medicinal plants or plants that are used in textiles.
